They finally put up some description for the other divisions.
If I get in Rocky Mountain, which I'm on the wait list and I understand it may be unlikley, BUT, if I get into Rocky Mountain I will be shooting at 5 of the 10 matches that 3GN point system will apply.
I regestered and my number is 18.
There has to be min of 25 shooters.
Since they have a Junior and Lady Division I felt like I should have a chance at Amature.
Note, if you are shooting Rockcastle ProAm, and you are registered with 3GN as Amature, you have to shoot Amature at ProAm.
If you register as Semi Pro with 3GN, you have to shoot Pro at Rockcastle ProAm.
This seems to be new and is all new to me.
Anyone have thoughts, suggestions or warnings I should know about?

I just signed up to try to bring the total to 25. I am only shooting 1 of the listed matches and I am sure I won't do well in that one but someone else might get to win something.

With a little research I have formed an opinion, SIMHO;
I think there is some apprehension for some folks joining the Amateur Division.
And maybe more to the point, afraid you may be too good to select Amateur.
No one wants to be teased about that.
Let me say there is a lot of interest in Semi Pro, I would think that will be a pool of good shooters who hope to go Pro next season.
So if you are not in the “Pro/SemiPro†camp but would like to participate in a National series, sign up online at 3Gun Nation as Amateur and let’s play.
Good or Bad, it will be fun.
