Soon as I get home I will post some vids so y'all can see what it looks like when a noob shoots 3 gun. Jesse's right, jump right in and have fun with it! Have someone video you shooting, you will see the areas you need improvement on, and what better way to track improvement?

Oops, this is Kevin, just saw that I posted this off my wife's phone......

Here is what it takes to win Heavy Optics at Midwest 3 Gun Championship. Also shot a couple local matches this weekend in Oklahoma. The USSA match is now a 3 Gun Nation Club Series Match. Man it's great having 4-5 club matches within 3 hours drive!!!

What was the relay at the end of the Midwest video? Separate of the individual scores?

This match always runs a team event following the main match while they are working on scores. It cost $10/man and the money goes to the ROTC guys that are helping work the match.

Another great video from 3GN at the Texas Multi Gun match.

what was the deal with you shooting the pistol before the stage started??

Every stage has a stage sponsor gun. The winner of the stage gets the gun. You shoot the gun off the clock so that it doesn't effect your score. It gets the sponsor guns on TV and we actually get to enjoy shooting then for fun. Then once you ground the gun and get composed you hit start button that's attached via cable to the match timer and you grab your gun off the table or out of your holster and shoot the stage. It is by far and away the best way to incorporate prop guns into a match.

It was hot but it was fun, thanks for the loaner gear so I could shot my First 3gun match. note on the rifle stage I didnt want to lay in the gravel in 100+ degree heat so I shot it standing.
