3 Gun @ Benton Gun Club Saturday March 9th

The BGC will be hosting it's March 3 Gun Match on 9th - sign in will start at 8:15 with first shots at or before 9:00. We will have 6 stages with the approximate round counts:

Rifle 70
Pistol 65
Shotgun - Birdshot 70, Buckshot 5

We are going to do something a little different. We have added a Rimfire Tactical Division - competitors must shoot centerfire rifle on the long range stage, but can use a rimfire rifle for the remaining stages in which rifle are utilized. Rimfire rifle can have either a magnified optic or a red dot. Pistol is to remain centerfire only. Match fee will be $20. We will be setting up on Friday the 8th - any help is appreciated and will receive a discounted match fee.

Rimfire division is not listed, but it is allowed.

Rifle 40 Targets (30 of these are eligible for Rimfire)
Pistol 50 Targets
Shotgun 50 Birdshot Targets, 5 Buckshot Targets
These are target count, not round counts, so plan accordingly.

Yep. Benton, AR. Just outside of Little Rock.

I hate they canceled Ft. Smith for today. I was trying to make a weekend out of being up there.

I'm definitely going to have to come over to Arkansas for a 2nd weekend double header this summer. Heck we only have 2 matches in ok. That's less than NY or CA.

Yeah, I think the next one is in June. I'll be there for the weekend. Hopefully, it won't keep raining Ft. Smith out.

West shot a strong match. I had him beat on the long range stage but I only had one hit on one of the pistol targets. Decided to load my shotgun like an asshole all day and ate up a ton of time. Hopefully next time I'll give him a little more competition so he wins by less than 20%.

I'm finding it hard to shoot while running a match. West had to remind me to drop a shell on the lifter when staging the shotgun. Need to get my head on straight before Surefire.

Only 18 shooters at this match? That's unreal. Its legit. I am definitely going to make it out to a few in the future.

Yep. 18 shooters and only 2 guys setting up. Most we've had is upper 20's. The guys at old fort don't make it down because their setup is the same day. Another local club had a work day Saturday as well.
