3 Gun at OKC Gun Club Saturday Oct. 22nd

I haven't read the various rules for open lately but I'm pretty sure some allow you to add and subtract things like bipods. Don't they?

Fun match! I had an ooopsie with some old brass on the rifle hose stage dang-it, changed plans mid way thru a stage and ran the shotgun dry, serious problem shooting the shotgun left handed! funny how I hit WAY right but I did fair on the long range :-) but could have been much better. My second 3-gun and I still have a mess of stuff to learn but as long as I can see I'm getting better all is good. Later,

You stinking rocked the long range. Going 3 for 3 on the 300 yard targets WITH IRON SIGHTS was impressive!

Awesome match and thanks to everybody who helped put it on. And a big thanks for all the help tearing down. Benjamin had one stage tore down practically by himself before the match was even over! I don't always get to make the Saturday matches but I'm glad I made this one.

I'll try to get my video up ASAP but damn I'm tired!

We need to put AR sights on Kirks shotgun he would never mis again that was some awesome shooting Kirk
Fun match guys, thank you guys that make this happen I will do my best to make the next setup.
 
Yeah, meeting more BoomerShooters was awesome. I wish I'd spent more time sighting in my carbine before the match, as I put a new front sight post in last week and I had to do a lot of adjustment for windage and elevation, and am still not done. This was a great match with cool stages. The dual bay stage was really, really cool. Having Mike running the show was neat, and he did great.
 
I hear ya with the equipment issues. I just put in a new extractor spring a couple days ago and didn't get a chance to test it out first. It ended up biting me in the ass a couple times.

By the way... Have scores been tallied up yet?

I don't see them up yet. I'm sure Mr. Cyrwus is working on it. Also, be mindful that there is bad weather going on so there could be issues with utilities/internet services.

I completely understand the wanting to know!! I feel that I did really well compared to past. I only had 1 FTN and I had some good times.

As for you previous comment on the ass biting gun issues. I hope you get them worked! I've been having those things for a couple months now. It felt good to finally have a match that wasn't full of them!
 
Today's match was really outstanding! I'd like to thank everyone that put work in on this, both before and after the match... I don't think I've ever seen things torn down and put away so quickly. All of this help is vital to keeping matches like this one on the schedule every month. Great stages and shooting today! Thanks everyone!!!
 
ok, well; I was home for 2 minutes before I got waylaid with a broken gun and another client, so now its mama's time. Ill have scores up in the am.

I had a great time, good stages, good weahter and a lot of people tearing down make for a great day.

On another note, I see a new rifle set up in my future, I just hope it happens soon.
