DTR was not on my radar and I do have plans to go to Old Fort on Sunday.

I can't win either way; the heat dome over us is spreading east also.
And typical Falls heat comes with a south wind that resembles a large hair drier, blows hot.
Donâ€™t' get me wrong, I like DTR.
I don't think I could survive both in one weekend.
I am jealous of you guys that can handle it.

i am only doing DTR. too far for me to go to old fort. and im like you, i couldnt do 2 days. one day, hell half a day, is all i want to do.

We have room for at least 2 more then it's gonna get a little sporty with all the gear I'm there.

I can't believe nobody's asked for a picture of the bus yet.

I might be able to go to this one! I won't go to the one on Sunday though because I'm participating in the .22LR shoot Sunday evening.

If I go, can I borrow one of your shotguns Jesse so I don't have to be in open division?

You can borrow either shotgun. You want 24" standard stock or 18.5" with pistol grip stock. I think the pistol grip gun gave Taymoor and John sone trouble for grading it magnum buckshot. We need to do a little testing to see what works 100%.

24" standard is fine. I will find out this weekend if I can go.

Maybe it hiccuped because crash bent the charging handle into the receiver? Or maybe it was those limp kittens wrists? Or maybe that pistol grip gun requires some getting used to? Seriously the pistol grip guns cause some trouble if your not used to them. A guy can put all sorts of odd torque into that pistol grip or simply just hanging on or bracing against it mores than you would with a standard gripped shotgun can effect the way it recoils and that effects how it cycles. I haven't shot it much myself yet so it could just be an ammo thing too. We all know it's not the gun since it's a Benelli.

Only out to 300 yds. The homemade flasher I saw down there was HUGE, too. Bigger than the MGMs we shoot.

I spoke to Robert briefly while at the Double Tap Championship about the 3 gun. I thought he told me they only went out to 200 at this point. I sent Robert a PM on Enos to get the scoop on distance and target size.
