No worries we all have them now and again! I tend to have a few more than others but hey I'm figuring out what NOT to do LOL Later,

Kirk

I had to ask what number the different stages were, Maurice and Chuck helped send me this, thought I would pass on just in case I'm not the only one.

Rifle on Bridge-#?- 1
Pistol-steel, shotgun-big poppers on dam, rifle across pond-#?- 2
Pistol-paper, rifle behind sand bags-#?- 3
Shotgun stage with black pipe, clays then steel in hole or shallow pond-#?- 4
Pistol-rifle, pistol steel by pond, rifle paper by pond then LaRue rifle targets-#? 5
Shotgun-pistol, gully run-#?- 6

What was the hand signal the guy was making after you grounded your pistol in the first part of the video? Nice shooting by the way, the long shots you handled with ease.

Pistol was close to coming out of the bucket. I was too agrressive/quick to get it in. Something I need to work on.

They had some carpet covered foam blocks in the grounding buckets for the pistols that I haven't seen before. With these blocks in place more caution than usual seemed to be necessary when grounding the pistols.

And that was some nice shooting! I had a lot of trouble with a two of the long range targets that cost me a ton while Jeremy and West handled them easily.

Ya on the stage with the rifle targets and two sandbag stations, you notice in my video I'm looking back at the bucket because I actually thought my pistol had bounced out.

I got a 5th overall wow I owe that to several targets and a lot of luck. I felt like in are group people would kill a stage just to get hung up on a target.
This is a great match I am glad I made it, 100-300 yd targets are fun, shooting off the road was definitely a challenge if you missed your spot by 8 inches targets disappeared into the vegetation.
My favorite was the canyon run I hit that at a dead sprint it seemed like slow motion the pistol sights seemed to just snap into place and linger there (then again big target at point blank), hard part was hitting the target at end missed one but at least I did not get a no shoot. 3MR definitely a do again.

One of these days I hope to shoot with you guys. My DFW crew is growing pretty large so they aren't going to let us make a squad that huge. These matches are getting me the experience I need for 3 gun. I have a lot more confidence going into the Larue match this time as I know how all of my gear reacts now. This weekend was my best showing with an 8th place finish. I know where to clean some things up now to improve my times for future matches now.

Great match Corey. You killed it while also picking up $100 worth of brass
thanks Jake, we have a great Boomershooter group to shoot with & everywhere we go there is just great people.
I really like processing the brass,I have all ready sorted the brass I will throw it in the tumbler later today
dislikes is working up loads lol
