Spiff
Semi-Pro
$1100
This was my first automatic competition shotgun. I need to make some room in the safe and just want my money back out of it, so this is your chance to own the Benelli reliability for not a lot of cash. It's fully kitted out (...like, you can take this to a match tomorrow once you check the zero for your slugs). The work on this gun has all been done by Kurt Miller and Trapr Swonson (loading port, sights, shell catch and lifter tuning), Jeff Cockrum (C-Rums - welded lifter), and myself (install Arredondo bolt release).
It runs great and quad loads like a boss (due to the 3.5" loading port). Since this is a 3.5" gun, don't expect it to run the mouse farts that the gas guns and 3" Benellis are capable of. 1250 fps 1 1/8 oz loads are what I use most of the time, it will probably do 1145 fps loads, but that may depend on your form. 1 oz 1300 fps slugs are required (I used Federal Truball reduced recoil), the 1 oz 1200 fps slugs will not cycle reliably. Low recoil buck is good to go. I'm pretty sure I put a Wolff -10% recoil spring in it. Stick to that advice and you can expect it to run 100%.
The gun holds 10 rounds of Winchester AAs in the tube and can be ghost loaded to get you a max capacity of 12 rounds. I've got a LM choke in it right now and found a full and rifled choke tube that I'm not using in my other shotgun, so those are included. This does take Mobil chokes, btw. I have centered the XS rear sight up, I would suggest shooting some of your slugs and seeing if it needs to move left or right, and then loctiting in place. I don't remember where it shot my slugs, but it was somewhere reasonable - not somewhere stupid like 3' low. Plenty good enough for competition use.
It has some of the camo finish worn off, nothing that affects function. It has seen a few dump barrels.
I would rather this go to someone local, so I will give preference in that way. I can take Paypal gift or +3%. Cash is good for local. Best way to contact me is through site email. Thanks!
