went and had lunch with a buddy of mine today. while talking he mentioned he scored some minimags at walmart in walterboro the other day. I havent seen those around in a while. So I figured id press my luck and hit up the Tanger Outlet Walmart and what do you know...sitting in the case were 5-7 100rd boxes of minimags. so I scooped up 3. total was just shy of $25.

Sportsman's Warehouse in Columbia was unloading several dozen 100ct boxes of Mini Mags today. I got 3 and a couple 50rd packs of standard velocities.

What I CAN'T find is my beloved CCI Subsonic .22lr

Schofield's in Florence only had .22LR shotshells. That was it. They did have a bunch of .223. I picked up a couple boxes of Independence 55gr, never used it, but it was only $8.99 so I thought I'd give it a try.

Cabela's has 300 rounds of WW 36gr hp for $16.99. Was able to get it thursday night so it may still be available. Use promo code 3winter for free shipping. And I too have hit WM at random times and scored WW 333 packs and CCI std velocity. Mid morning seems to be the best time.

good luck!!

Those 100 round minimags were like 30-50$ on those giys tables that bring all sorta of odd and ends in old beat up boxes

A friend sold 500 rounds on AL for $150.

Dicks in west ashley has had a good steady supply of them for $9.99 but a limit of 1 sleeve.

.22 lr is getting more common in the upstate... Prices are high... The new norm I am :| But 150 for 500 :o why I mean really why? I don't get the .22 lr craze

I've paid more than retail for mini mags this year, but only to shoot with the kids. The Mark III loves em and they make shooting it accurately a lot of fun for the kids.

But $150? HELL NO

Mods please move to the appropriate forum. I got carried away.

Dropped by East Coast for Black Friday and picked up a box of 525 Federal plated HP for 29.00. Limit of one but just keep on smurfing and maintaining my ammo locker. Lots of company this past week so a lot of powder burned. :D

3/8x8" AR500 gongs for Centerfire Handguns. We had a 1/2" gong which we used with the high powered rifles (6.5x55 Swede)

Glocks, 1911's, Rugers, Star, etc.

Henry .22LR and Destroyer Rifle in 9mm Largo

Shotgun freckles

Fun was had by all.

All Cabela's has right this minute in the rimfire category is 17HMR. PSA in Greenville HAD pallets of minimags not too long ago.

wish I could find some here near oburg and Columbia , my 3 boys love shootin but, I cant make it a mission to go to the store everyday, I live about 20 miles from each town and it seems everytime I go lookin its all gone, the only place I can find it is at woodys pawn shop and those rapists want 40 bucks for 300 rds of federal or 60 b4 tax for 500 rds of blazer, I just cant bring myself to get bentover w/o lube by a filthy greedy pawnbroker prick, the thing that REALLY, and I mean REALLY PISSED ME OFF ABOUT THAT WOODYS PAWN SHOP IS THEY ARE LIARS!!!!!!!!!!!! Over the phone they told me if I came up there and bought in bulk I would get a discounted price { 2 or more boxes of 500 blazer } I drove 30 miles 1way and when I got there the guy renigged and said " well I didn't say that,, someone else mustve not known what they were talkin bout " Needless to say I didn't buy anything and will never step foot in there again

Kuntreebuoy, I live in Lexington. I've got a spare box of 225ct Remington Golden Bullets I'll sell you at non-bend-you-over pricing. PM me and we can work out where we can meet. I am free during the week and most weekends... Pretty flexible schedule as I'm in grad school at the moment

FWIW, I saw more .22LR at the Greenville show yesterday than I have seen in two years. Prices are still ridiculous, but I did see at least one place with bricks of 500 for $50.00. Some wanted as high as $80.00 or more, but some are getting more reasonable. Also saw a few 325-round Winchester boxes for about $30.00-35.00.
I hate to pay these prices, and I draw the line at .10 per round.
I picked up most of my supply over the last year at Academy - two to four 50-round boxes per trip depending on whether my wife was with me to get the 2 extra boxes.
I haven't been able to shoot much for the last few months, so my supply is holding out for now.

Kuntreebouy, sorry about the situation if you were closer I would try to help out too. 11B3XCIB good on you for looking out for another member. I get the whole buy it cheap stock it deep philosophy but did anyone really see a run on .22lr coming? I have found it at a few Lgs at slightly inflated prices not quite gun show prices. A new local shop in travelers rest has some various brands at 4.00 for 50. Guy says its slowly coming back and he hopes to get his prices down to 3.00 soon...

Had to go to ATP the other day for a barrel nut, and checked on .22LR.

100 round sleeves of mini-mags, $21.99.....WTF?

Are you serious? I thought the $15 100rd plastic packs of Mini Mags on Armslist were bad.

I hate to think how much reloading components are there. $80/1000 primers probably.

I bought my 2nd Glock 19 there (3rd Gen) because all the ones around here were Gen4s and I wanted continuity with what I already owned. I'll never go back.

dont pay those prices. be patient. i was at a wal mart and got the last 2 100 packs of mini mags for $7 something a pack. $15 and change for 2.
