.22 ammo at walmart

Just a heads up. I ran into the group of guys that are keeping the stores empty of .22 ammo for a resale at walmart on s. 19th in moore.
If you've got the time to get up there this morning you may find a box or two if they don't take it all.

Also, one of em got a phone call while I was there and I overheard him say that academy in norman is getting a shipment tomorrow.

There's a group of SOB's that do the same thing in Yukon. Haven't seen a box there in over 14 months

I asked them point blank if they were the guys stripping the shelves across the state. None of them would look at me or say anything, 2 of them looked towards the ground and shook their heads.

They'll be at Academy in Norman tomorrow if you wanna stop by and tell em thanks.

Bunch of bottom feeders doing it up here also. They buy it out then resale it at some of the local pawn shops, which then price it at $5.00 per/50 round box.

this is going on around here as well. Very sad to see 4 or 5 guys that are living off of us hard working people are at wal mart every morning then moving to the next place buying it all up (with our money the state is giving them to sit on their ass) and then trying to sale it on facebook and other places for over double. It is sad because those of us that like to take our kids out shooting or need the ammo for rimfire challenge stuff have no chance at it because we are WORKING. sorry for the rant but this 22 ammo stuff pisses me off.....

I have been trying to find some too with no luck. Still have a few hundred rounds of lead stuff. Only stuff I found was CCI lead for 20$ for a hundred.

It's been well over a year since any was at our Walmart. Those bastards line up at 5:00 am to be there when it gets in at 7.
I got lucky and found some fed bulk for .04 cents a round at Cabellas. Enough to make steel challenge matches this summer.

I would but it is hard to tell an 8 year old daughter no. also even if all of us quit for a few months it wouldnt keep the people we are paying for from going out every morning and buying it to resale for a quick 5 dollars. it just sucks

I listed some shooting stuff on armslist and I get emails/calls all the time from guys wanting to barter their 22 walmart bulk packs they value $60-$80 for my stuff.

The vultures at our walmart at the local pawn and gun shop owners. Walmart has became their ammo distributor since they can't get any either.

I know it doesn't help much but If you keeping trying you will find it a "reasonable" prices. I have been able to buy for my and my son's use 3000 rounds in the past month. I had to pay between 3-6 cents a round but it is available. you just have to be observant and look everywhere. I got a tweet from a guy with a link to Cabelas for some. It was only availiable through that link, I am not sure where he got it. I tried going to them myself and it showed out of stock with his link in stock and I did get it.
