2015 Oklahoma Sectional

Just fyi, we are already in the planning phase for the 2015 OK Sectional. Stay tuned for more details but I can tell you we will be using matchsignup for registration and squadding. We are going to hopefully split the 6 divisions with another club so everyone can shoot their favorite gear in one of the sectionals.
With the announcement of Rob leaving the section position in June, I wouldn't mind doing a spring match.

A lot of states pit on great championship matches that encompass the entire 6 divisions. One day I hope we can have a match that rivals Mississippi, Louisiana, and Indiana's..... With so many matches it is hard to find enough free weekends to give the support needed for three or so matches.

Very true. I think the concern is that with only the one match, we will still draw less than 100 people and 2 or even 3 divisions will have less than 10 shooters in each. Makes it hard to pre-order awards and stuff.
Now with that said, if another club is not interested in hosting the other 3 divisions, we will do it and perhaps do all post match awards. Either way, I personally will assure that every division will have a state champion in 2015. Whether it's a single match or two.

I agree with 100 shooters it would be hard. The matches I'm referencing sell out 300 slots in short order drawing shooters from around the country. With the quality of our facilities and the available resources there is no reason we can't do the same in Oklahoma.

Chris, I agree and I am hopeful we can turn it into a multi-day match. Getting the word out is what we need to do and I will need help with that.
