What do you all think? We could run a day and a half match with 8 bay stages and 2 long range stages out to 600 yards byt reserving the High Power and the Silhouette ranges. Prize table and keep the entry fee down to less than $100.

Let me know and I can get the ball rolling. Thinking it would be early spring, maybe a few weeks after Mesa. (April timeframe)

Edited to add a Poll question.. USPSA/IMGA/Dont care.

Not sure.. HAHAH.. Thats why I opened the thread. Maybe you could talk the corporate boss into making it the Stag Arms Oklahoma 3-Gun Championship! :) Just thinking how great the Arkansas one is, why can't we do the same thing in the spring and have two! :)

It doesn't matter to me what its called or who sanctions it. I just figured with USPSA you'd have to jump through more hoops to get everything approved.

I wouldn't say I "forgot" necessarily. To be honest, I am not real fond of the "pizza box" targets and since I am not a member of 3GN, and the club isn't a registered 3GN club, I didn't even think of having that as an option. Maybe I will add it just to see the desire.. If it were really up to me, I would love to see the old rules in place like;
No cinched magazines
No magazines in Tac-Iron and Tac-Optics over 30 rounds
Extension tube no more than 3" past the end of barrel

You know, all that OG stuff that isn't around any longer, but there is a reason why it isnt around any longer.. :)

Nobody but you will remember those rules. LOL!

About the only thing 3GN association would do is get shooters a classifier. I think they would require the bullseye target too which is why I couldn't talk the guys at GIIIG into affiliating with 3GN either.
Personally I'm not against the 3GN bullseye so much as I am against making all of the hoser cardboard targets smaller.

I like giving the MD that ability to setup a few hoser arrays with 2X size IPSC targets at 3 yards if they want to.

Haha. Yah, it seems to limit the requirement for accuracy. I had a hard time with that at USSA. I think 90% of my hits were in the "A".

3GN targets are a lot harder to hose. Double taps usually result in Alpha and a mike over the top.
