2013 USPSA Production Nationals - Tulsa, OK

I was waiting for some reality to set in!

Yep. Most of us will only get to shoot if we RO. Oklahoma section probably only gets 5 slots at best.

I hope we have 2-3 RO schools before then because you gotta be certified for the big show.

It's right in the middle of major 3 gun season. :) I believe we have better things to do amigo.

I'm going to make a pistol nats one of these days.....

If it does end up happening at USSA, I'll most likely go.
It should be interesting to watch.

Utah? It better be good cause there ain't nothing else around that could be.

St George Utah is 2 hrs north of Vegas and its beautiful.
I've gone climbing there, but not shooting.
Its a resort town and its near Zion.
They just hosted Area 1 and all reports say it was an awesome match.

Get in line fellas. Nationals slots aren't easy to get. I'll trade my L10 slot for your Prod slot.

I shot Nationals at USSA in 2008 (had to use the slottery) and Vegas in '09 and '10.
I've also shot SS Nats in '11 and '12.
Never had a problem getting a slot.

Lots of people will never come to Tulsa for Nats again due to stigma of the consecutive Mud Bowl matches.
Ya'll should start asking your SC what the slot policy is for Oklahoma. Eligibility for a slot should be based on how many Production club matches you shoot in 2012.

Do youhave to fill out an application before a certain due date? I'd really love to go to this match and more than likely will if it's at USSA! :)

you have to be a uspsa member, If you earn a slot the entry fee is $275 if you go on the waiting list the fee is 295 but you have to pay a 10 waiting list fee if you get a slot they will take the 10 off the 295. Im not quite sure how oklahoma is doing the slots thats a question for Robert Carlie

$275 JUST TO GET IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOSH THAT'S A LOT!!!!!!!!!! Oh boy, well now I don't know if I'm gonna be able to do that!? :'( So there's a $10 fee for the waiting list, that's what you're saying?

the big matches aren't cheap, that's why i suggested hitting the level ones to get some experience behind you. 15 bucks sounds pretty cheap when compared to an area or level 3 match

You got that right! Well with the skills I tend to have now I probably won't be going to the Whitington Center next summer (My dad says I'll get bored there because of what I can do now.) so that money could go for this match. I will be better then than I am now anyways I bet! :)

i heard Mink talking about it at Nats, but nothing from anyone else... depending on the when it might be fun... dedicated revo nats in 13... you know im going to that one.

I shot all of the National events that were held at USSA and the last two were mud bowls. All of the squad mates had to mark what water puddles that your magazines landed in so you could retrieve them after shooting the stage. I would rather spend the money shooting a couple of good area matches than spend it on the Nats. The prize table at the Nats is very scant for such a important event with lots of $50 bullet certificates and similar items. I have become spoiled to the 3 gun tables these days I guess.

Get the mud out of your heads. That is history. There was massive flooding everywhere in 2007. IDPA Nationals at USSA in September of 2009 and 2010 had great range conditions even on the mornings after it rained. There was no mud.

I don't even think that it rains in Oklahoma anymore.

I think someone mentioned this before but it is my understanding that if you RO a major you cannot shoot it. Is this correct?
