I think I may have the best sqad ever! James Darst and Larry weeks!!
If I would have know you were shooting we could have got on your super squad too darnit!

I had a great time at this match, not sure were I finished. I shot in the open division, had a lot of fun. I cant recomend this match enough if you want a fun beginner 3 gun match! Signed up last year goign to signup again this year.

Also congrats to the winners, that rifle you won looks like a great rifle.

PS. Anyone know what a Slidefire Proveil Reaper Hydro Kit is? I won it at the match and it is being sent to me,

This was a great match, Hunter and I enjoyed shooting on Squad 12 with Jesse, Chris, Rustin and the rest of the group. I think our squad may have had the most top finishers in the divisions.

We had a pretty awesome squad Adam. It was good to shoot with some fellow boomershooters.

I'm running ametuer. Just for the sheer fact that I might win it I'm Am. We shall see.

Friday AM.
Nice shooting! You ended up beating me by 50 sec in Amateur. I sucked a fatty on pistol typically. Damn limp wrists will get you every time...

We had a pretty solid squad up there. It was real good time!

Here's a few things I saw that are easy to do faster.

Gun transitions. Practice putting that shotgun safety on and tossing that shotgun. When picking up your rifle the safety, charging handle pull and pickup should be one quick motion and then snap the gun into your shoulder.
On the shotgun keep a better round count. You ran dry several times. This match had 7-10 shotgun targets on every stage. Know how many misses you can have before you will go dry. If you miss more than the amount of extra rounds, stop the second you miss and load a shell into the tube instantly rather than once your bolt is locked back. Simple math. 7 targets, 9 in the gun you got two misses. Miss 3, reload immediately after the miss.

Your rifle cadence was too fast as was most of ours. You were shooting roughly two shots for every clay on average. Those clays are not easy and you almost always have to see your hit to confirm a break so slow down, breath, and focus on a perfect trigger pull when the acceptable sight picture presents itself. Always take support on those types of targets too. I failed to take support on the barrel on stage 3 with the boat/sandbags and I gave up 2-3 seconds in misses.
Pistol looks solid which is a good thing cause its the hardest gun and those targets weren't easy to break the clays on.
