$300 match fee? That's the most I've seen to date other than IPSC where I gotta pay to fly RO's around the world. I hope it's worth it.

I got check logistics and the match calendar again today but I think Chris Andersen and I are gonna come give it a shot.

You want to squad up?

Fees paid, Any other Boomer Shooters heading up?

It was 275 last year if I remember correctly. That included a lunch for the shooter and the ammo on most of the side stages. It is now a 3 day shoot with 3 lunches. The prize table last year was amazing for a first time match. There were # Swaro's and they got picked up first then the Nightforces left. Not one prize was worth under $250 and everyone got something. The last bag was worth 300, just so the last name picked didn't get a shaft. The top 3 placers got to run to the table then it was luck of the draw.

Im signed up I went last year and this was a great match, the full auto stages were a ton of fun. Particularly since I had never fired anything full auto before.

The bonus stages were non-competitive last year, no scoring. Just fun stages. The competitive stages were all reactive targets. Rifle were orange self healing targets hanging from a chain longest shot about 50 yards, pistol were clay pidgeons in the a holder shaped like a skull and shotgun were assorted poppers. Resets on stages were quick.

I also learned those damn orange balls are a pain to hit.

Beyond that scoring was miss or fte generated a time penalty, and then overall time. Last year it was a 90 second par they added 30 seconds to that this year.

Prize table was awesome. Top three in each division walked the table first, then it was random by shooter number. Just missed walking away with a swavorski scope last year.

I hope that dog is a Rottweiler on a logging chain! Stone better be fully decked out in costume to win that Ruger.

Andersen and I are going and we are meeting Rustin there. Should be fun!

Are you guys shooting Friday AM or PM?

I am shooting Friday AM, be the first time I have shot my MKA1919 with the new 10 round mag. Interested to see how it does.
