2013 Goals

Mine will probably be added to, edited or changed but off the top of the dome here are mine

1: buy reloader + a shitload of components
2: Start Mike Seeklanders competition program
3: Make A class in Limited
4: Go to at least 1 major match (pending work schedule)
5: introduce as many new shooters to the sport
6: continue to party!!
7: continue to live on the perf

Hmmm, this years goals....lets see......

1. Continue to lose weight and get fit, hit my goal weight of 180.
2. Run a 5k
3. Shoot more matches than last year (shouldn't be hard, only shot one in 2012...)
4. Shoot the 600 yard matches, and prepare for a 1000 yard match.
5. Get my wife to shoot a match.
6. Get my kids shooting more
7. Shoot a 3 gun match with my Garand.

My goal is to make it to 2014...................

2. Shoot matches, even if I have to drag my kids to them
3. Shoot 10,000 rounds through my pistol in aimed fire
4. Don't miss any targets with my shotgun
5. Practice with rifle out to 600 yards
6. Test a Load-2 system

My goals are to shoot as few of rounds possible and attend only a handful of matches. Oh wait, that was my 2012 goal and I achieved it.

For 2013, I want to shoot more matches and have fun....

Win Limited at a big pistol match. Got close at TX Limited this year. Guess I'll have to shoot more than 2.

Win a bigger 3 gun match.

Shoot some big matches I've never been to.

At minimum I want to avg. 92% of the available points at all majors and cut my misses/penalties and deltas in half.

No match finish goals anymore, I cant control how well other people shoot.

Well here are my goals for next year.

1) Try at least one pistol match of every type.
2) Set up a reloading bench
3) Try a three gun match, posably with my SKS
4) Go to a Project Appleseed event.

2) Shoot 90% of points in all matches

3) Become insanely familiar with my AR at all distances

4) Work shotgun reloads a minimum of 4-days per week

5) Dryfire pistol minimum 4-days per week

6) Shoot 3 major USPSA and 2 major 3 Gun matches

I slacked off dry fire and live fire a lot this year, I'm changing that first of all.

I didn't shoot a major this year either, I'm going to make the time to shoot at least 2 of them in 2013.

I hate to make this a goal but if I'm going to put the time in I might as well get a limited GM card out of the deal.

I will also earn an open M card.

GT, put the work in and you dont have to worry about making GM/M, it comes. I decided to let go of the quest for the GM card because in the grand scheme of things....its just a title. I would love to hold a GM card in production and I believe I will someday but Im not going to focus on it.

You'll make it bro, just dont worry about it and pay attention to the ride there.

That's actually how it happens. You just have to say screw it and put time in, all the while just shooting what you see. Id rather be that damn guy who shot a great match with killer points who ended up taking top limited at this point.
