Okay so here is the announcement you all have been waiting for. The Colt 3 man 3 gun team event dates are set and the first one will be at Topton,PA on April 21st. The Second match in the series will be at Peacemaker Training facility on July 13th and 14th. The match fee is the same as last year $600.00 per team. You must attend both matches to pick from the prize table and Jensen and I are working to make it bigger and better than last year. Colt has once again committed to be the major series sponsor with a large cash prize like last year. There will only be a Tac Ops division this year since last year nobody shot open anyway. I will midify the rules to allow bi-pods on rifles, and there will be no comp measurements. This way open guys can use open rifles with just one optic. Shotguns and pistols will be regualr tac ops rules. Start times will be 8am with shooters meetings at &:30 for both dates. If you Ro'd last year and are interested in doing so again this year contact me as you will get first chance to shoot for free and RO. Ro's most likely will not be imbedded this year to make it easier on them to concentrate on shooting. I have attached the application forms, get them asap, as I am sure it will fill up quickly.

Where did you attach the app form and where can I find out more about this match, such as where is Topton.

I forgot to click add. The application is now attached. I just copied and pasted this info from the Enos forum posting.

Actually I haven't been waiting on this announcement at all.

Mr. RUSH, Topton is in Pennsylvania.

Thank you, and geeze louise, I need to sell my cargo van and buy a cargo plane to shoot 3 gun.

Check that,
I need a cargo plane to put my cargo van in!
Now I'm getting somewhere.
PENNSYLVANIA?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I'm seriously thinking about getting a pilots license. My father in law is doing it now and wants to buy a plane. How sweet would that be?

I take it that this match is not beginner friendly?

Jesse,

Our team is looking to shoot again for 2013! But we have a problem to work around. I can only make it to the one of the shoots.. Can we shoot as a 2 man team in topton and ill be able to join in July for the 2nd leg? Currently in Afghanistan and I hope to plan my leave around the July dates. Maybe you have an idea we can use for topton?

Thanks,

Jonathan Marianelli

Hey Jon, I shot it last year, you can add an alternate to your registration so you can have the alternate shoot for you...another team I knew had 2 guys (both military) unable to shoot the second match and they allowed fill ins. hope that helps some.

Jesse,
I have a few friends that have pilots licenses and light planes. A plane big enough to carry a couple shooters probably won't have the capacity for guns and ammo for everyone. An old customer had a twin engined job that would carry 6 passengers. Bad weather would still ground the thing. He flew from Long Island to Vegas to shoot S.O.F. one year.
