2012 Double Tap Championship

I'm out, going to the IRC the weekend before... I sent them an email asking them to allow me to pull out.. its either shoot the worlds largest revolver match or shoot a gun i won't touch until just before the double tap...

The Double Tap is definitely one of the best matches around. From the shooters to ROs and staff everyone is always friendly and help which as a new and still inexperienced competition shooter is gratelly appreciated. Heck last year the assistant match director helped me tape my hand up after the my .45 left some pretty nasty blisters on my strong hand so I could get back into the match. Looking forward to the matchh again this year and hoping to try out a new division this year.

Just for other folks references the IRC is $175.00 also.

and also i would do both but three major matches in less than 30 days is streching the old budget... I was looking forward to shooting my first double tap championship. Thank you Scorcher for the information and the well wishes. I attended Area 4 last year and was impressed with the range and how well the match was ran/staffed. I am sure double tap is equal to if not better than that.

The IRC is the holy grail for revo shooters.. much like the vatican is for catholics... it's the Nationals for ICORE drawing competitiors from all over the world.

I'm sure the double tap will sell out, esp with the Texas open cancelling. Maybe next year everything will work out better for me and I can attend.

Thanks Chris Good Luck out in the Land of OZ (Califorina) :O, and Your Right Double tap is not very Rev. Friendly, Going to go back and Look at the stages and see how they look toward rev, understand Budgets, that would be ALOT of shooting, See you next year

Just checked out the stages, and as always they are probably the most creative stages I have seen. How Robert comes up with these year after year is beyond me. I do think some are nightmares he has had about a stage though.
