Guys - we are thinking of starting a monthly 20 questions for the pros type of deal - here is the deal - WE NEED HELP forming 20 questions. If you could sit down with a professional shooter of some type and ask them 20 questions - what would they be?

Shoot us some ideas!!!

I'll start the ball rolling with some obvious questions:

1. When did you start shooting competitively?
2. Who was the most influential person in your shooting career?
3. What do you consider your biggest accomplishment in your shooting career?
OR
3. Which of your shooting accomplishments are your the most proud of?

4. How much do you practice?
5. What do you pactice most?

During your formative shooting years, what aspect of shooting gave you the most trouble?

What aspect of your shooting are you still striving to improve?

What aspect of shooting to you think is the hardest skill to develop?

One thing I've always been curious about is how do you afford all the ammo to compete in all the events?

I'd like to hear responses to these. With the addition of how do you successfully develop the hardest skill in the last question.

Ones I like so far - a mix of goofy and serious

1. Who was the most influential person in your shooting career?
2. How much do you practice / What do you practice the most?
3. What is the stupidest shooting mistake you've made?
4. Any weird pre/post match rituals?
5. Ballpark - How many firearms do you own and of them which is your favorite / why?
6. What aspect of shooting to you think is the hardest skill to develop and how did you develop this?
7. Which aspect of shooting gave you the most trouble to master?
8. Walk me through a typical practice / training day for you?

How many rounds do you think it took you to reach Master class?

What type of non-competitive shooting interests you?

What are you going to do with all those left-handed holsters?

I wondered about that. So,

What type of backup gun do you use, and why?

Where do you carry your backup gun?

Do you modify the trigger on every gun, or leave some stock?

What are you going to do with all those left-handed holsters ?????

During your formative shooting years, what aspect of shooting gave you the most trouble? And what/how and how long did it take to correct?

What aspect of your shooting are you still striving to improve?

What aspect of shooting to you think is the hardest skill to develop?

These are what I'd ask a Strader, Seeklander, or Miculek.

Do you train with any type of firearm more than the others?

When you first began, was there any type of firearm that took you longer to get to where you want to be than another assuming you are there now?

That's 18......

Do you see any correlation, good or bad, between competing and combat?
Favorite load, and why?

That's 20..... Send this sizzle out.
