What are the differences in trigger control between a pistol, shotgun, and rifle?

At what distance do you shoot groups, and what type of rest do you use? Applies to all guns, and implies patterning as well as slugs for shotguns.

Do you train across disciplines to build skills? Like shooting trap/skeet to practice hitting clays which may be thrown during a 3-Gun match, etc.

We need more. For guys like a Taran Butler or Ian Harrison from Top Shot we need stuff like that too. Not every set of questions has to be the same.
 
Do you ever just shoot for "fun"... in a non training or non competitve venue?

As your a world class shooter.. did your wife ask you teach her to shoot or find someone else?
 
What kind of CCW do you carry?

Do you ever practice trick shots?

When did you realize that you were going to be in for the long haul?

Do you bring a backup gun to every match? What about multi-gun backup guns? Are they the same make/model?

How much time can you let go by before you notice a decrease in your shooting ability? How much practice does it take to make it back to your average performance level?

How often do you get your vision checked? Do you upgrade the prescription if there is just a slight change to get the clearest picture, or is that not an issue?

What kind of reloading equipment do you use? Was it free, or did you choose it for a reason?

If you use a gun with one type of trigger, do you standardize with it? Like if you use a 1911 trigger in competition, is your CCW pistol a 1911? Or do you practice different trigger systems? Does it even matter?

If you've shot Open, is it because the sight picture can be acquired quickly (trigger finger spends less time waiting), because it's "cool", or just different?

How do you practice shotgun shooting, as in what type of targets do you use? Clays? IPSC targets? Steel?
 
Anybody that puts together a summary of all these questions so we can choose gets a prize. I gotta see what we have but it's all good stuff.
