20 APR 2013 3 Gun Match at Millcreek

Just a reminder that next Saturday is the first Millcreek 3 Gun match of the season.

We are planning on having 5 or 6 stages. John is confirming that now. One stage will be a longer range rifle stage with targets out to about 250 yards or so. We should have our new flashers out by then and I am ready to pop their cherries!

One will be a high shotgun round count stage.

The rest should be all 3 guns.

I think that our weekend conflicts with the monthly CMMG match in MO, but I think that we can give you a good value for your match dollars without driving 2 hours into MO.

If you can, please show up early and help set stages.

The round count will be around 75 each for rifle, pistol, and shotgun. Bring 5 slugs just in case someone gets froggy with the stage design.

Also, the CMMG match has been cancelled this weekend accordning to their website (http://midwest3gun.com/index.php). So if you were planning on heading out there and still have the itch to shoot, Millcreek will be the place to do it. The weather should be pretty good.

Think that you will be pretty happy with the match that we put together.

I like shooting the CMMG match, but I HATE the bloody drive out there. For my money Millcreek is as good as any club match that I have ever shoot and is only 45 minutes from my house.
