I just got a +9 tube and I need to know if I need to trim some of the spring. Also, is there a case that the shotgun with this tube will fit in? I want one that I can fly with.

The only tube that will fit in a hard case is like a 9 or 10 rounder. I always take the tube off when I fly and put the factory nut back on the oem threads so the barrel stays put. the factory nut stays in my hard case.

Try the spring without trimming if it holds 12 your good to go. It will be a little harder to load but it will be more reliable that way. if you can't get 12 then trim a coil or two until it fits your desired amount. you might leave it sit loaded for a day or two get it set a bit before you go cutting it too.

It should hold 12 with a stock Nordic full spring, if it gets more then a couple inches shorter than a stock full length Nordic than change it out, mike cyrwus instructions there... I've been carrying a spare with me. I guess Jesse has got some that were cut longer but I haven't seen that yet...
