Assigning a point per round required per stage is probably the way to achieve the most even weighting. Much like USPSA does.
Yep...
Except for long range.

any buckshot needed?
My 870 only holds 6 in the tube? Not that I'm running it tomorrow, but what if I decided to go ahead and go old school and run HM? Also will a downloaded M&P 45 work or does it have to be a 1911?Talked to mike earlier about finalizing the stages. We may have a couple short and sweet shotgun standard stages. With high plains only 3-4 months away it may give you am idea of how you compare on things.
Don't you hate that even stage designers talk about stuff but don't tell u what is actually going to happen? I know I do!!!
So we discussed having a quick stage to break up the big stages where you start at low ready with a round chambered and a round in the mag of your shotgun. At the beep shoot popper 7-10 yards away load eight rounds, shoot another popper at 7-10 yards. Simple as that. One shot at the old Mr. Weak hand drill. Afterwards everyone can serve who loads 'em fastest. We may have to weight this stage as 50 points rather than 100? Not sure in that.
2nd idea was to have another stage or string. That requires you to start at the lower ready and unload the remaining 8 rounds from your gun onto the poppers at 7-10 yards.
What do you think?
We may or may not use them once e get a feel for the timing on the other stages.
I am going to bring a bunch of scrap 2x4 and 2x6 lumber. I want to make up about 10 long gun dump tables. If anyone had a circular saw, screw gun, dec screws, plywood or any flat decking for that matter, and any carpet scraps please bring them out to setup. On Friday. I probably won't make setup until 3:00ish. I hope to have one table finished prior to Friday so any free hands can use it as a template to build the rest.
Im running an 870 and an M&P 45, the limit is 10 so you dont have to load down. The 870 on the other hand, youll have to learn that one on your own...just practice loading, a lot...My 870 only holds 6 in the tube? Man I feel like a kid at Christmas, can't wait to shoot tomorrow, been almost a year since I shot my last match, so I just hope I don't embarrass myself too badly!
I know Jesse videos all his matches, anyone else do that? I will be bringing a camera....

The wife may run the camera, but she is a bit timid and may not want to run around trying to follow me.

I should have an extra 6 rounder you could use.Ok anyone have an extra shell holder. The 21 stage exceeds the capacity that I can carry with what I have right now.
