1911 grip panels

Yeah those diamondbacks are sick looking. They even say "not recommended for daily carry"
Did you look at the Simonich Gunners?
I'm planning on being at Heartland sunday night, remind me & you can check them out.

Thanks, there is something intangible about the way these feel. I can't really describe it but they are cool.

I think its the way the diagonal ball cuts are positioned. When you slide your hand onto a full combat grip, the grooves kind of guide your hand right down the grip (actually up the grip) and then the huge checkering (5 diamond per inch) grabs and locks your fingers in place. Anyway thats the best way I can describe it.

As they say on the interweb, "your mileage may vary"!

GT was sporting some on his single stack at H&H the other night.
They're a little different than my original Gunners from Simonich.
I didn't try them out but they looked a little less agressive on the texture.
I need to get with him to shoot a few rounds with them to see if they still have the same feel.

I realize this is an old thread, but does anyone know where I can find these grips? I have a Springfield TRP, and really like these grips. Any help is appreciated.
