1911 extended mag release?

For 3 gun, and I guess SS, what is a good size for mag release button? The original is hard for me to reach. Maybe different grip panels are also in order, but I kinda like the cheesy, rubbery RIA grips. Any particular brand?

I don't know about the mag release but I LOVE VZ grip panels. I have tried nearly all of the different models. My carry 1911 has the Operators ('cause I am one). Some versions have a cutout for the mag release that is pretty handy but probably not as handy as an extended mag release

They have everything from fairly smooth/thin to those that will actually take hide off. Here is a review of the latter.

Dawson. You can choose different lengths for the button, and it's tapped/drilled for a big button If you want one of those.

If your going to put a button or lever on it, go short.

I've used the buttons with the big paddles on it and they suck monkey balls.
Get a regular button with extended length.
