PM box cleaned out. I'll call Andreas right now and see what he says. I don't foresee any problem.
 
He is making fifty of them no matter what. He will call me back this afternoon to let me know what the progress is on those barrels. I'll ask him this afternoon how he would like you to pay, but however you do it, make sure to note that you are part of this GB and you would like it sent to my address (PM me for it) so that you get the group buy rate. You could buy one outside of the group buy, but I have no clue what kind of price he would put on an individual barrel.

It would be awesome to know when we are going to see these, Taymoor have they given you a delivery date? last I heard was mid June. If you can get a delivery date that would be very helpful as I'm getting close to just purchasing a barrel to get my rifle completed. Don't think I'm being crappy dude I just want to get this rifle up and going and if it's going to be much longer I'd just like to know. Later,

I called him this morning and he said they were in the process of making them. He is supposed to call me this afternoon to let me know how much longer I'll have to wait. I'm as frustrated as you are about this loose time table. If you decide to get some other barrel, just let me know and I'll refund you your money as I'm probably going to get a couple extra barrels myself anyways.
 
Taymoor, I'm not pissed just would be nice to know when were supposed to get these. I know your hands are tied as you are dealing with a 3rd party but if you can pin him down as to when we are going to get these that would be awesomeness times 3 ;)

I'm not going to ask you for a refund dude! I know that group buys take awhile to get things in and if I did get another barrel I'd have to get new goodies and would end up with 2 uppers :blink: hold it a second that might not be a bad thing :lol:

It would be great if you can pin him down to a delivery date, might ask him how long it takes to turn the barrels being he said they were going on the lathe what almost 2 weeks ago? just looking for something I can put on the calendar dude and yeah I'm chompin' at the bit to get my rifle together :rolleyes: Later,

I just heard back from Andreas. The barrels are done in the white and being sent off for phosphate finishing. Three weeks to go, he said. Its taking a while and very stressful for me as the GB coordinator. So I would like to apologize to all those who are as impatient as I am. Just hang in there knowing that when all is said and done you will have a unique barrel configuration for a great price!

I may end up not needing mine. I have too many projects going on right now and need to prioritize. I originally just wanted to see what kind of accuracy I could get out of a super cheap rifle. Pm me if you are interested.
 
3 weeks, I hope the zombies hold off until then ;) I'm sure your pulling your hair out Taymoor! group buys are kinda a pain to deal with but I've built enough rifles to know that getting everything together in one pile so you can start takes time. I've been so busy with work and the new house that I don't have much time for much of anything to deal with shooting, hell I'm still trying to get out and chrony/accuracy test some loads for my pistol that I loaded back in April. Life has gotten in the way and all my shooting has been placed on the back burner.

Keep us in touch with the goings on of the barrel thing and when they get here I'm sure you'll let us know but don't be surprised if I want to drive up and get mine that day :blink: Later,

its times like this that my experience with wally world kill me. I find it hard to wait the 2 weeks for slow items to show. I like the 3 day turn around stuff a lot better.

Depending on where you are and when they come in, I usually travel into SE OK every month or so and could possibly meet you. Send me a pm with your location and I'll let you know If I usually go through there.
 
If there are going to be extra barrels available, please send me a PM as I am interested in picking up one or two of these
 
I have talked to the manufacturer and he told me the simplest way to do this. He has made fifty of these barrels and will just ship me what is already on the list as of now. If anybody else wants one, call ESS and ask for the 17'' boomershooter barrels (when they are done, of course). Tell him you want the $109 price, but you'll have to pay more than $2 for shipping.
