How many own a 1911 in this fine caliber? I've had a DW Silverback 10mm since 2018, wow, that's some serious horsepower right there. I dabble in reloading too and the 10mm is just more fun to reload for than the 45acp, which I love too but being able to load rounds from 135gr on up to 220 gives one alot of flexibility, and fun.
Yesterday I took off from work to hopefully have a day at the range alone, at least not getting pelted by brass from every direction. Success!!
I had been loading some rounds throughout the week that I was wanting to chronograph and had one of the pistol ranges all to myself.
Here is a breakdown of some of the better loadings.

I'm not the best handgun shooter, I just always seem to dedicate more of my range time to my many rifles. I love shooting handguns and have made myself a promise to change this and practice more with my handguns. I'll add this too, I've noticed that I seem to shoot revolvers better with less effort than autos, weird I know but an obvious fact.
My phone is about to die so I'll post pics of some of these groups which were all fired standing unsupported from 25 yards, they're generally around 2.5" - 3.5" across the board, a few bigger ones too though.
I suppose they could be worse and I bet that a better, more experienced handgun shooter could produce much better with these loads given the numbers which seem very consistent to me. I've always liked the Silhouette powder because it does produce consistency for me. I was really surprised by the H800x. It's awesome for sheer velocities but accuracy has just been so-so, for me anyway.
I had a chronograph malfunction with a set of 135gr Nosler JHPs and a very scary load of the 800x so I dont have those numbers stored in the ap on my phone but they are still in the chrono and I'll dig them up and post them here, I remember I was seeing almost 1700fps with that bullet and 13gr of H800x!! They scared me, seriously, but the damnedest thing is other than the already flattened ( from setting them in the tight primer pockets) primers being even more flat, everything else looked ok, to me anyway. They were scary though.
