I have looked through a lot of high end 1-X scopes, and none of them are true 1x in my opinion. For the money, you cant beat the vortex 1.25-4, get it.

A Vortex PST 2.5-10x42 would be a great choice, and you can find them lightly used very often for under $500. I use one on my 18" dmr rifle and love it.

I work at a gunshop and we just started stocking the Luth stocks. For the money, you cant go wrong. The adjustment knobs are a little crude looking, but they hold rock solid. Weight is very reasonable too, not heavy at all and it gives the rifle good balance. Hope that helps, Jeremy

I was at an IPSC match this last weekend. A guy shooting a shadow took first place. I fingered the gun a little, sweetest double action ever, the single stage was nice too. I don't know if I will ever buy one, but they seem to be very very nice.

I have used these for the last month or two and have put a few hundred rounds through them, I haven't had a problem yet, seem to be a nice alternative if you just want your standard issue 17 round mags. Jeremy

You could cerakote a mount any color you want. If I had the color on hand you wanted, I could do one up for you for a nominal fee. I did an AR and shotgun in safety orange for a buddy of mine for 3 gunning. Needless to stay, it stands out. Jeremy
