    Favorite Shotgun

I have a trusty Rem 870 as the closest shotgun but my most used shotgun is a 12ga Browning Gold Sporting Clays. It can cycle 1oz 1100 fps loads no issue. Great for sporting clays at Belton

    Red dots

It's a fun gun to shoot as long as you don't have small hands. The grip is absolutely massive.

    Red dots

I have Trijicon SRO's on my Glock G40 and FN FNX-45. Red dot sights on a pistol is definitely a worthwhile upgrade. There's even a company making a very low profile reddot that replaces the rear sight on a Glock for carry purposes.

    Weapons lights, mounted or handheld

For daily carry? Rechargeable 18650 handheld. (Olight S2R) Pistol next to the bed has a weapon light on it. Home defense shotgun has a light on its pump. Bought a Streamlight with remote switch for one of my AR's just need to get the offset mount for it.

    Covid Pricing

I won't pay them unless I absolutely have to get it. We still have a capitalist market, so prices will go up as demand increases and supply can't keep up with it. It amuses me that people think they'd still be able to buy the ammo that's in-stock if it wasn't at a previously "absurd" price.

    Where Did You Buy

I bought my Taylors & Co Ridge Runner 1886 .45-70 lever action online because it's kind of a pain to find locally. Yes. :)

    .45-70 Government

Chiappa also makes some nice .45-70 lever guns. I believe Taylors & Co imports them. This is a Ridge Runner by Chiappa / Taylors & Co with a Bowers VERS 458 suppressor:

    bipods

I use a Harris S-BRM 3-6" bipod with an ADM QD sling swivel mount on my DMR. My .22lr rifle has some cheapo 3-6" bipod on it, which is fine for what it is used for.

You can order the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit for the Mark II series and put it in to a 22/45 as long as you get the hammer bushing as well (this replaces the magazine disconnect) VQ Accurizing kit: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/928414 ... k-ii-22-45 VQ Hammer bushing...

I'm at the Isle of Palms so I believe Twin Ponds is closest to me. Does 10am at Twin Ponds work for you two?

    Back in Charleston area!

How does Monday or Tuesday sound to you guys? Could go this afternoon/evening as well. Have a friend from arfcom that also wants to go shooting. He still has to work so his schedule may not work out.

    .22 suppressor

My 22/45 LITE works decently with my Innovative Arms Apex-S. There is more action bark than some other pistols out there. Have heard great things about the M&P-22. The SR22 should be avoided because it has more action bark than the 22/45 does. I believe the buckmark should suppress well. They...
