Well I am not going to be shooting my 3.5 compact anymore for compitiions, Which would you buy for 3 gun/idpa the m&p 9 4.5 or the 5 inch. Both would be the Pro CORE model. Thoughts?

Those look about right. Backordered and I am impatient. Side note called remington back agian and I think I have figured out how to get a ghost ring setup on the versamax. To my knowledge and to remingotons knowledge no one has every done this. might be worth a 100$ experiment

I gave Remington a call and they told me $68 for a versamax tactical mag tube. To remove the factory tube you just need to hit the reciever with a heat gun and use a strap wrench to remove it. Now I am wondering if I could remove it, take it to a local machine shop and have a 1 peice magazine...

Will adding a nordic extension void my versamax warrenty? The factory magazine has those damn dimples in it so I would have to smooth then out with a 5/8 socket. Would smoothing them out void the warranty? Do we get a discount at nordic, I know they are sponsors on the forum?

Its a toss up for me. with the 26 I get the ablity to hunt with it, not so much with the 22. Just found out the price is about 200 more on the tactical.
