and now, trying to bring this thread back out of the ditch.....I missed the last one. I will more than likely make the upcoming one. I plan on shooting it all weak/reaction hand. Per the rules, it will be from the holster. Anyone else up for it? Any chance of this being one of the classes?

This was my first match ever. As for skill level, I would say match novice, but I have a weapons background in the military. I thought the match was a blast and look forward to the next one.

No Nordic upper here, but I do have 2 .22 that I would be glad to share. 10/22 and a Savage MKII bolt action. And my first match was Sunday night at Heartland.

Not all of us have carry permits (yet). Should we stay away? Not all of us, myself included, have experience shooting from concealed. Baby steps. Let the shooter get comfortable in these matches, then start concealed. I know I need a better holster for concealed carry. This match proved...

I am 2/3 of the way to being ready for a 3 gun match. The shotgun is what I am missing. Just haven't gotten around to it.

Found it mentioned on AR15.com. I enjoy handgun and rifle shooting (mostly .22 on both). After the Heartland shoot last night, I can see more of that type in my future too though.
