Do you have a private range near Charleston?

That's great, thanks. We'll have to make sure we find a way to thank the "Shop" when we produce so you get some publicity. I'll give you a call through the business Friday if you don't mind. We had a death in the family so I have funeral arrangements this week.

Do you have a private range near Charleston?

Hey guys, Over at C&Rsenal we're trying to dip our toes into some video projects but a death in the family has created some hurdles. We have arrangements in Spartanburg but we're hoping a fan of old guns would have the space and generosity to let us film on their range. This would be...

    I've been exploding firearms.

It does, this was taken from an old article. I'm going to break it down much further for another print but I'm waiting to acquire a ratty Type II sight. I can't risk the Rockola's we have handy.

    I've been exploding firearms.

Thanks to the crew at the SC Military Museum I was able to get my little team from C&Rsenal setup and their BAR M1918A2 torn down. http://i.imgur.com/0o7Euii.png I've also been stripping some other pieces: http://candrsenal.com/exploded-views-gallery/ But the best part is my new wall art...

We visited the SC Military Museum

After the Columbia gun show we stopped in at the South Carolina Military Museum. Mike Lott greeted us and asked about the show. In talking to my girlfriend he realized we were C&R collectors and we began discussing the little website we run. Long story short, Mike let us into the vault and we...

Francis Marion rifle range clean up - August 11

Did anyone get the details on this? Where to be and when? What to bring? I've got a few people that would like to go but they haven't returned my call.

    Show us those rifles!

I found this recently. Danish Krag M89/10. Originally manufactured in 1900, safety added after 1910.

    C&R License

I use mine constantly to buy from private sellers listing on local ads across the country. You would be surprised at how willing most people are to ship for an extra $30 on their asking price.

    Columbia Gun Show.

I've done OK lately but I tend to buy old stuff that some people are too lazy to look up.

    Columbia Gun Show.

I went to the Gunrunner show in Greenville. It cost an extra $2 to get in and there was NOTHING. Is the Columbia one any better?

    Stalked during my Walk today...

I live in downtown Charleston so don't find it that strange when I see cars go in circles and then stop to ask me questions. Then again I'm also 6'1, male, and I don't think predators like beard-rash. I definitely think being on guard was the right decision, whether or not he was up to mischief.

    Newest addition.

    PAWN STORE FINDS

It takes a lot of ferreting. I hit about 3 a week depending on where I'm at. 99.99% crap. I've done other good deals too like a German marked and proper serial Astra 300 for $150. I kept that one. :)

    PAWN STORE FINDS

I found an Arisaka Jinsen Arsenal assembler's rifle. Used to train the people who made the guns. Got it about six months back for $100. Sold at auction for $1800. That was a good week.

C&Rsenal Thread (with requests and travel plans)

I can't say for sure just yet but we might make the Florence show next weekend. If anyone has something to show let me know so we can lug the light box if we come (or pester you next time we do) Articles are backing up for lack of images. As a time filler, I'm pulling some pistols and rifles...

Spartanburg CWP Trainer "Irresponsible Gun Owner of the Day"

"It was just a freak accident and could happen to anybody," says Christy Smith. I have severe problems with this statement. Every gun accident short of a chamber explosion from unknown poor metallurgy is preventable.

Where do you draw the line?

I'm with the rest of the cautious posters. If I were unarmed I'd be more willing to get directly involved with minimal information. But being armed comes with a LOT of responsibility and liability. I'd really have to know what was going on in better detail.

Buying a gun for my Daughters Sweet 16

I know more than one girl who doesn't care for Glock-style vertical ejection on their pistols. Kinda depends on how much attention they pay to their clothing choices for the range. Just something to be mindful of that males don't put at risk and rarely think about. My girlfriend and roommate...

Accidental Shooting at Trader World Range

I'd guess fumble and catch. The hang fire would have had to be a long one for him to bring it around fully towards his chest. The urge to stop a loaded handgun from hitting the floor is a strong one.
