There is no doubt that I love 1911's but lately I've been captivated by Wilson Combats.
I thought there needed to to be a pic thread devoted to Wilson Combat.

So get em out and polish them up,
let's see em!

I will begin with my latest 38 Super!
I had to sell my favorite CQB to pick this one up but now that it's home I'm
happy again.

My latest Wilson Combat came with a bit of Nighthawk DNA.
X-Tac Elite in 38 Super...(Big surprise Huh) in DLC finish by Nighthawk Custom.
It is currently getting fit with two extra barrels. 9mm, and 9x23.
When its done, It will be the nicest, most versatile 1911 I own.

I had to buy a guys CQB so he could buy an X-Tac Elite 38 super ^^^^^^
After I got it home.... I and IT are very happy!!
Not a lot of pics as you have all seen it before...
I have some Barbie dress-up stuff ( @ZoidMeister ) for it on its way.
Maybe more pics then.

Not sure if I posted this HERE.... After several months of waiting.. changing...waiting.... It finally arrived.
To me, it was well worth the wait.

I don't understand the months of waiting. Ordered mine from a dealer and had it in a week. With a reduced price. A Tucker OWB holster came 3 weeks after I ordered it. Would send pictures but have neve figured how to post them on this site.

Maybe because I ordered not-so standard stuff at the height of the X9 frenzy. Different trigger length, larger backstrap, sights & finish treatment.

I understand. Any variable will do it every time. Interesting sidelight. My dealer e-mailed me asking if I wanted the polished slide at no extra cost. I sent back a message that regular finish would be fine. The gun came with the polished slide, and beautiful. No complaint. Called Wilson and asked if the polished slide was extra and they told me in the past there was no extra charge but now they charge an extra $125. So I ended up getting about $350 off list price. And thanks, I'll try to post a picture as a trial.
