This happened in the middle of my first ever IDPA match yesterday @ about the 110-115th round of Remington "UMC" 124gr ammo. Shooting XDM 5.25" 9mm. Blew the magazine completely out of the gun. The barrel is clear minus the remaining mangled up brass. My biggest question is can the gun be fixed...

Sorry I missed you guys. I got to watch about 3 stages and both my boys shoot the airsoft stages before the floods came and nearly washed our campsite away. Maybe next time.

On the topic of heavy metal division, what is the maximum mag tube length for the shotgun? +4? We're trying to get my oldest son set up to shoot and he already has an 870 that he hunts with.

Some updates: Went a little farther with the porting then polished it up a little better, installed a TTI lifter, tweaked and polished the shell carrier latch, and polished the mag tube. A few more tweaks and hopefully I can finally put it back together and go shoot the damn thing. :hunter:

Well...the dremel got loose a couple of times and I had to adjust a little...lol :o

I still have some polishing to do but, this was as far as I was comfortable going with my first attempt until I get a chance to test it out. The area around the follower makes me a little nervous :unknw:
