Most of the 1911 parts I have replaced have required fitting with maybe one exception, slide stops, fitting parts in the 1911 is SOP to my mind.

Brownells AR tutorial site is new as of the past couple of weeks, now they need to do the same of the 1911 and I emailed and suggested it.

Hosted at www.brownells.com/HowToBuild, the new website features step-by-step, interactive videos professionally filmed in the famous Brownells video studio. Featuring Brownells Gun Tech Caleb Savant, the videos detail the AR-15 build process with easy-to-follow directions and expert advice.

This is my old minor gun it's got around 40 thousand rounds thru it and is no worse the wear but am looking forward to the new SA 35 and will post update.

The day it was announced I called my LGS to get one coming.

I see where Palmetto State Armory is tooling up a ammunition manufacturing plant to produce steel cased ammunition, that may help to ease a percentage of the banned Russian imports although it won't happen over night.
