Personally, I think the Taurus leaves a bit to be desired. Kimber, I think is priced higher than the level of quality they are providing. Ruger actually doesn't make a bad 1911 for the money. There are a lot of decent 1911s out there.
Great Job Joe! Fellowship with other Christians and the joy & freedom of shooting. The only thing I could think would have made it better is if I was able to be there sharing the experience. Great job and God bless
There are a number of very good mags on the market. Willson and Chip Mcormick are good mags and seem to run well. However, I only use one in all my custom builds. Tripp Cobra Mags with the hybrid followers. Fit finish and function of the Tripp mags have been the best in my experience.
Yeah I'm not sure what Springfield would say. Probably that this was "normal". I guess it wouldn't be wrong. It seems most manufactured pistols have their issues. Some just worse than others, I guess. I hope this pistol was just a fluke.
