Randall magazines are high priced. Plenty of mags that will function flawlessly in the Randall 1911……. Of course if you have an unfired collector an original mag would be desirable
I would love to hear the reasons… the current situation is there are several budget makers of the 1911 and the owners have good things to say about them
I went the other way. My first 1911 was the old Springfield Linkless in 10mm. Then I added several Delta Elites and bought the first G20 when they first chambered 10mm
Only a few years ago I found a killer deal on a Hand Fit 1911 Ithaca in 45acp and I was hooked. A couple of DW and a Les Baer...
Ok. That makes sense , kinda. If you find a 1911 that you really like, a trigger job from a gunsmith is not that expensive
Also, I have several Springfield Champions and found they have decent triggers not great but for an affordable gun Springfield is worth looking at.
My real thought is to...
easily my favorite 1911 is my Ithaca, When I purchased it I had just purchased a Les Baer. If I had purchased the Ithaca first I would have had no need for the LB.
I believe Ithaca does not have a strong marketing dept or these would be way more popular
