I have a Guardian in 9m and Love it. Very reliable and accurate.

I have DW Guardian and it runs smooth as can be with all factory ammo. They tell you to shoot only ball ammo for the first 500 round and clean it after every 50 rounds and then you can shoot hp. Its what I did and it feeds everything I put in a mag. I also have a few Wilson mags. Hope this helps.

Butch, I am a natural left handed shooter and a little over a yr. ago I had a rso ask if I could shoot right handed. I tried and did very well and now I can carry on either side. The trick was when shooting right hand to turn NOT TILT my head to the right and a line my left eye with the sights...

Nice list of 1911's. I bought a DW Guardian last year for my birthday and love it. I looked at the Colt and the Sig Sauer line but bought the DW.

I absolutely love mine, bought it in 1989.Great gun, I've been thinking of have it worked on but not sure who to send it to.

It looks nice, does the back side rise up to keep the hammer from digging into your side ?

Excellent firearm, reliable and accurate. I understand the new model takes pmags which are less expensive then the factory mags.
