    2016 Contingency Program Discussion

Burk, thanks for all your hard work putting this together. The shirts look nice, and I am hoping to get one this year. Are there any group discounts or such for multiple orders? If I get one for myself, the three kids will start circling like vultures...son has been going to matches for a...

    2016 Contingency Program Discussion

To Burk and Wall: Thanks, guys, for organizing the contingency deal. I heard about it for the first time via word of mouth in December...work leaves me very little time to visit here. Anyway, I,ve been watching for the 2016 info, and am glad for the update. Naturally, we understand that you...

    Pawnee Run 'n Gun, July 19, 2014

I pulled a calf muscle pretty bad back in May, so I'm planning to walk most of it. Crap, how many people can jog 6 miles in the heat with rifle, pistol, and all the gear? Some certainly, but not everyone. If ya wanna do it walking, go for it!

    Price for Cerakote

Larry--Forgive a dumb question, but if it's only the furniture, wouldn't Krylon be just fine? Why cerakote plastic? Exploring options here--Anyone know a gunsmith in the Tulsa area who can either modify a Browning HP or install an after market hammer so it doesn't gnaw on the web of my hand? My particular HP is vicious enough that I rarely shoot it. I know about high-end places like Cylinder and Slide, but...

    Where's all the powder

My best pal loves to rub my nose in his manly stash. I told him a few weeks ago that I had scored some primers...His reply: Gosh...i'd love to buy some primers too. I'm down to only about 60,000. Rotten cuss... :-). So I understand about stash envy.

Practical Rifle @ Oil Capital Saturday 3/1

This is a really cool match for those who have never gone. With around 60-75 rounds of rifle and 20 or so pistol, it's not expensive for those on a budget, and the entry fee is only $12. However, you get five stages, a chance to work with your rifle in fun situations, and the peple who put it on...

3 Gun Club Series Match @ USSA 2-23-14

Hey Brian, Jade, et al. I'd like to echo what others have said: That was a top-notch match, and I had a really fun time. The stages were challenging, but not ridiculous. The staff was efficient and very friendly. Also, my son, who was along to watch, got to rub shoulders with some great...
