CMC 8 rounders

I bought a used ATI 1911 Military in a private deal & he made no bones about it, he lost track of the rounds quite a while ago, but guesstimated in the 1000's, he also included around 500 rds of ammo, most of it handloads... The pistol was (is) tight with normal wear & tear, so yep I pounced on...

I carry my ATI 1911 Military in a custom "Talon Tactical Outfitters" modified Rogue IWB Holster in a kidney carry, it sits nice & flat & distributes the weight of the full sized 1911 nicely, throw a tshirt over it & it's out of sight out of mind, a jacket & it disappears...

Yep 45 ACP, mine already had the feedramp cleaned up, so it fed HP's no problem, & I cleaned up m GF's so it feeds HP's no problem too...

I would've loved to have seen the look on his face when when 100+lbs. of Conan came after him at full speed LOL...

I'm surprised that Mothers Demand Action hasn't had a fit over this yet....

Yeah, I was surprised at how tight these were, no rough tooling marks that I could see, the sights aint the best, the finish is a little thin, but hey those things can be easily addressed....

Here's my nothing fancy ATI M1911 Military with cmc trigger & slide stop, polished feed ramp, I got it used for a good price.... I'm checking with machine shops to get the slide milled for aftermarket sights.... And my GF liked it a lot better then her S&W SD 9 so she bought her own...

I'll take short, fat & slow any day of the week....

One of my favorite scenes, the look on those punks faces was priceless lol
