Mike, my primary has a 1 inch Battlecomp that I've been very happy with. Buddy of mine purchased a BCM 14.5 and had the 1.5 Battlecomp pinned by BCM. I liked the recoil mitigation without much of an increase in muzzle blast so much, I purchased one. They are not inexpensive though. :cry...

I, too, have had bad experiences with Thermold magazines and, surprisingly, the metal H&K magazines. The feed lips on the H&K metal magazines appear to be too soft. :o
