I have a Trijicon 1-4x24 accupower on the way. What mounts does everyone recommend? My price point is under $150 so that rules out some. I'm ok finding a used mount as I always like to save a few bucks. I'm leaning toward Larue as they are on sale till Christmas but may take a while to ship out.

I like PEPR mounts. I am very much the amateur when it comes to AR's though

Those are OK mounts for the price but for a bit more money I went with a Warne mount that was recommended to me by a former Green Beret that ran a sniper program and then McMillan rifles after he retired. I figured that was a good enough endorsement.

Meh.........
I generally don't skimp in optics or mounts. The cheaper ones, I avoid made in a China when I can. They generally have low quality hardware, return to zero is poor and they are heavy.

I've learned over the years to buy this once, cry once. I'm not knocking anyone for their choice in mounts. I'm just passing along what I believe and have learned from my experiences.

I've now got two of these. http://www.aadmount.com/30mm/ I love em. Above your price point but the gen 1 is great and if I wasn't in a hurry I would've waited for a used one at your price point over the gen 2.
