XD sights and Trigger

I put a set of TruGlos on my XD9. It was a booger to change the sights.

I put some fixed night sights on mine. It was hell! Then I found out I was shooting about 10" low at 15 yards.

So I'm going to let the pros put some dawson adjustable sights on for me.

Sent my gun off wensday afternoon and springer called today and it's done!!! Man talk about good fast service that's only 2 days. I am impressed and happy can't wait until carry gun match at heartland to try it out ,maybe I can shoot as fast as Jessie now...... Lol hahahahahahah 

Okay so I got my XD 45 slide back from Springer Precision about 3 or 4 weeks ago.

Had them install some Dawson adjustable sights that I purchased from them.
Had them crown and polish the feed ramp on the stock barrel.
Had them remove some material from the side of the slide and a coffin cut on top.
Finished off with an OD Green cerakote.

While I was waiting I decide to do some texturing to my frame.

Here is the end product.

Oh and I installed and fitted an PRP over travel trigger and striker lever, had to put the stock striker spring and trigger spring back on the gun. I was getting a light primer strike and reset with the springer precision springs. I did keep my springer precision sear on.

The over all travel of the trigger is now 1/4" or less. Well worth the time fitting and money!!!!

After my brother and dad felt the new trigger setup they ordered one that day.
