Is this one of the Himalayan Tahr from New Zealand? I see you mentioned a chamois, and know both are inhabitants of that area.

Cancel my question. I just saw the sub title that said a NZ Tahr.

I watched a video awhile back of some guys shooting a custom AR built by Accuracy Systems Inc. (I have one) taking the Tahr out to 400 yds with a .223. If I'm not incorrect, they are considered vermin in NZ?
