I'll take one and have passed the information to some friends to see if they want one also.

Don

I would like to know what you have to say.
say it here or send PM please.

I didnt realize that this was in the marketplace, and that bp is a BS sponsor, so Ill be very succinct and just say that the threads of those ports will erode in short time.

Just what i was thinking. You take'em out and you'll never get'em back in.

You might get to tune it which is awesome but my guess would be that after a few hundred rounds you might not get to add a setscrew if need be.

i'm still interested

Hi, My name is Dimitri from Ares Armor. We actually received a phone call from one of your members earlier that turned us on to this thread.

To answer your concern... I have one of the early models of this device on my personal rifle. I have fired about 10,000 rounds through it in the last couple of months. The threads on the adjustment ports as of this morning are in perfect working condition.

If you guys have any more questions feel free to ask on here or call in. We are not sponsors of this forum so we will not be posting anything on here unless it is a reply to a question or concern. Thanks for your time.

How about a demo unit?

I wouldnt worry about not being a sponsor, boomershooter isnt too crazy in that regard. If you have a good product and good info about it, its going to be helpful.
Good to hear about the comp's condition. May I ask what steel youre using?

Lots of us are gear junkies and especially comp junkies. We would love to hear more about your effin comp. That thing looks efiin badass! Lol! There must be some interesting engineering or lots of beer drinking behind the design of this effin thing.

As of now we aren't releasing some of the finer details. We are using two different types of steel. One is stainless the other one is 10xx :)

Also curious as the barrel length. The shorter ones eat comps quick.

My rifle is a 14.5 with a carbine length gas system. it has so far been tested on a 10.5, 14.5, and 16.my personal experience is with the 14.5 The only thing that needs to be done which will come in the directions is after you install the system heat up the barrel by shooting some rounds through her then re-tighten the cap while the comp is hot. This only needs to be done one time.

Both :) Our engineer actually came up with a weight formula that measures appropriate mass to counter force being expelled through the front of the barrel. Goal was to increase the "moment of inertia" without overburdening the weapon. Honestly, I understand the concept but having seen the formula, that part is a little beyond me. He is pretty happy with himself though.

Best part about that is we will be able to apply the same calculations to other calibers.... we are working on one for the AK as we speak.
