Please make sure your rifle is SIGHTED IN!!!! not maybe, not kinda, not sorta, not was the last time, but properly sighted in to hit where you aim. Too much time is wasted trying to accomplish this in class, or too much aggravation takes place trying to adjust your technique when its your rifle.

Have fun in the class.

And I'm probably going to be "that guy". Dang it!! I didn't have any rifles that were setup to work for this class. I scrambled to get a 20" and put an Eotech on it and a new scope for a 23", so that either could be used. And since then I've only had a chance to go to the range twice and it's been windy as a hurricane both times. Today I was keeping the vast majority in a 6" or less circle at 200 yards but I honestly couldn't tell exactly where it was "zeroed". The 23" gun will make ragged holes at 100 so I know it's not the gun. The freaking wind sucked. Very gusty, up to over 30 mph. I will be in OKC Friday evening. Anyone available to get me on a range to check this dang thing?

Scott Parks and I will be at the OKC range tonight around 5:00 setting up for the class. I could help you get a zero then if you wish. It won't be off a bench, but prone of a bag. but it will be 300 yards and it will be the targets you will be engaging the next day. KurtM

That sounds great. Thank you!!

Kurt, thank you so much for an awesome rifle class. I knew I was doing several things wrong but soon realized that I was doing everything wrong. I look forward to practicing the many things you taught me yesterday.

Thanks,
James Darby

Great class this weekend Kurt! I really learned a lot even for a know-it-all like myself. For those of you that missed the class you better get signed up for the next one when it happens.

Yes, it was great. Thanks again, Kurt. You improved my shooting tremendously. Well worth the price of admission.

Kurt,

Terrific job. Thank you very much.

Although the part about Jesse showing us his exploding gun may have been a little much.

Thanks again.

I second that motion, Hi Plains was a bonus to our training the weekend prior, really got to apply great lessons, and it felt good.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
