It was fun as hell. Good guys up there in Ponca. Reload malfunctions for me and firearm malfunctions for Bonobo, but in the end we took the top two spots in the centerfire division. Dennis is one hell of a guy, btw!

I've never shot steel challenge before, only shot at a handful of the heartland matches, might have to make a trip up sometime for you guys to show me the ropes.

It was a really fun match. Taymoor had some problems with his reloads, and my trigger return spring busted.

On Taymoor's run, I got 4 filmed, but I wasn't sure which one was his best one, so I just guessed.

Had a great time at the shoot yesterday and all the shooters there were very freindly and helpfull. The was my first time shooting steel and won't be my last, think I'm hooked, and finally got to meet ol Dennis! Taymoor & Bonobo get them boolits and trigger fixed! I've got to go work on a mag.

Last night I screwed my sizing die down as far as it would go, got my calipers out and checked the reloads. They checked out and easily chambered in my barrel/chamber. So I cranked out 400 of them. I've got a spring for Randy's gun in my Midway cart. Everything ought to be good to go now.

Gotta luv the easy fixes, don't ya. That's the first I've ever seen a M9/FS break a spring like that.

Dennis, thanks for the tip on this site. Looks good!

If it exists, I can break it. Cheap fix though, thankfully. For being a ~20 year old gun, I don't know if its the original spring or not.
