Red Neck Tactical Rifle Class w/Kurt Miller and/or Trapr Swonson

The cost for one day is $200.00, BUT it has to be Saturday. You can't come out Sunday as everything I do builds on it'sself. On Sunday you would be at sea! (Yes I know you asked about Saturday, but I am just letting others know). There is no discount for one day, because the first day is very full and you get most of the techniques on that day, ie. Propper holding, snaps, multipul targets, Position shooting, support shooting. The things you will miss are support side shooting, off boreline axis shooting, Sling use, Malfunction clearance, moving and shooting, ballistic theory, and gear, like Flash light mounting, What you need and what you DON'T need. Perfect, put me down for Saturday only class. Check is in the mail.

Kurt thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to teach this class. It is really cool to have someone of your abilities and experience to offer this class and not charge some ridiculous amount of $$$.

Kurt I'll call you on the drive back tonight. I really want to take your class but I committed to running some 3 gun stages on Sunday so I'm hoping we can work something out for me to do both.

a good definative post would be helpful too. like where, date, time to start and end, what gear is needed, meals provided?

I don't want to put words in Kurts keyboard but the class will likely be like the rest of the classes out there. 8 or 8:30 a 4-5. Bring a lunch or go get your own from the subway in Arcadia. Bring 1000-1500 rounds, bring all your cool mags, slings, bipods, whatever is in your kit. Dint forget your sunscreen and a BIG cooler if water. A chair, cleaning kit, eye and ear pro, etc, etc!

The class is going to be at the action range at okcgc.

Yeah this one kind of morphed into a class and I never did ggive a diffinitive post, so here goes.

Rifle class 18th and 19th of June 2011, no pistols or shotguns needed.

Cost $400.00, requiering a $200 deposite, sent to Diamond M Enterprises
4512 Canaan Creek Road
Edmond Ok. 73034

Where? at the action pistol side of Oklahoma City Gun Club 1/2 mile North of Sorgummill road on Hiawasse road.

What gear? you will need a servicable Semi-Auto rifle (full auto guns are allowed but can't be fired in the full auto mode due to range restrictions), with ANY kind of sighting system. Make sure it is zeroed so you can effectivly engage a 300 yard 10" steel target. You will need 2 spare magazines with holders. You will need eye and ear protection, a full set of elbow and knee pads. You will need a bottle of oil. You will need a minimum of 1000 rounds of rifle ammo, but if the class is small you will need a few hundred more.

I will have a big water cooler at the range, but it would be nice if you brought your own cup so as not to fill the trash barrels with plastic cups. I don't provide lunch but we take an hour break around 11-1 depending on where we are in the silibus.

Once again ANY SIGHT SYSTEM WILL DO! This class isn't sight specific, it is about general rifle skill. Use the sight system that you think you will be using for what ever you are doing. IE. competition, H.D., duty etc.

If I skipped anything feel free to post it up and I will answer as soon as I can. Thanks Kurt Miller

This is a competition class, but all these techniques are the exact same ones I teach to L.E. and Mother Green.

Please make sure your rifle is SIGHTED IN!!!! not maybe, not kinda, not sorta, not was the last time, but properly sighted in to hit where you aim. Too much time is wasted trying to accomplish this in class, or too much aggravation takes place trying to adjust your technique when its your rifle.

Have fun in the class.

This is still open for guys that can only make it on Saturday and that cost is $200 total?? If so, I'm in.
