3-Gun set-up

You guys are nuts. I can't see lugging all that stuff around. But then again if I were to try my hand at 3-gun this would be my setup;

Picture1509.jpg

Mossy 500, Puma M92 (w/16" barrel) and my humble lil' Ruger SP101 .357 (which shares the same ammo as the Puma). Of course I'm not serious... or am I? :P

Weight. No reason for a rifle length full quad rail. This isn't how ATAS can I get - its 3 gun competition. No lasers, or lights, or bayonets, or anything is mounted to the forearm.

The real reason to not put a quadrail on is they happen to double as cheese graters. I used to run a light on my competition rifle because it also happened to be the rifle that stayed loaded in the closet with 31 rounds of 75gr Hornady HPBT canned anger. Now that I have more than one practical rifle, the light came off. Run what you have, don't worry about everyone else.

That's a SASS 3 gun setup almost. They are just 100 years too new.

M2 from Lone Star Armory
M&P Pro with all the Apex goodies
JP15 w/ Carbon Arms tube, SS 1-4 (dot/mil reticle)

What are the specs on that M2. I've never heard of Lone Star Armory. Gotta a link or specs?

P.S. You have officially taken yourself out of the "my equipment is holding me back" category. Nice Kit!

The specs on my LSA M2 are the following: 21" barrel, opened up the loading port, XS sights, Nordic bolt release, Nordic Speed bolt handle, Nordic ext tube, C-Rums lifter, Briley LM choke, and Nordic clamp.

Lone Star Armory is located in Fort Worth and is owned by Andrew Brady. Andrew builds some pretty exotic rifles for tactical, competition and hunting purposes. He also does modifications on pistols and shotguns. Check out his website for so really cool photos of some of his builds. You can also find him on Facebook.

Jesse, now that I have the equipment, I need to learn to shoot it. That is why I am driving to OKC for Kurt's class. See you on Friday night.

Like Chris said you just need a stock for that shotgun and you are ready to go. You will want different stuff later anyways at least once or twice so come shoot and see what else is out there.

Here are some photos of my 3 guns about a year ago. All 3 have changed significantly since then.

Glock 34 & 35

Nice set up Jesse, Is that ace stock fully extended in this pic? I don't know whether to order the short or long. I have short arms. And don't know if the long one will b to long not extended.

Ace stocks do not colapse

Newbie! My ACE SOCOM stocks all collapse. I run my long model 1 click out from the shortest. If you get the shorter model all the way out is not quite where the longer model starts.

Sorry, I was thinking ARFX not SOCOM
