Sold/Expired CR Speed or Double Alpha Competition Belts

I'm planning on getting a belt also. I had planned on getting a CR Speed belt, but had also looked at the Double Alpha belts. What is your opinion on the two brands? The guys we are buying our timers from also sell Double Alpha belts for $55 on their site, but might give us a break in that price.

The CR Speed inner is thicker and better. The DA outer is more rigid and comes with a longer keeper.

Who are you guys getting the timers from?

Larger, since you will be able to over lap the velcro belt.
On the CR you will order 2" - 4" larger than you pants size.
Double Alphas you will order your pant size.

I wear a 36 and use 38 & 40 belts. The 38 inners work great but 40 outers are better because of the extra overlap. Minimum if one extra belt size on the inner/outer style belts.

Double Alpha belts are inferior to CR speeds; I wouldnt own another DA. The stitching sucks

I have 2 DA and 3 CR. Both are holding up equally well. Mike must have gotten a bad one.
