OK State .22 & .223 Tactical Rifle Indoor Championship

YES, THERE IS STILL ROOM AT THIS MATCH!!!

YES, you can sign up the day of the match.

YES, you get to pay the extra $5

The whole idea about the early bird special was, aside from motivating people to send in an entry so I could gauge interest, etc, was so I knew how many targets/arrays to prepare IN ADVANCE.

Obviously, I'm making sure there are enough for folks that show up Match Day, but it is nice to know roughly how many I'm looking at.

Based on early interest, there seemed to be a real possibility of having 20 or so folks shoot two divisions, filling up this match, so it seemed important to have a way to not have a total mess at sign-up if 30 folks showed up, each wanting to shoot 2 divisions. Early entries was the answer.

We will take what we learn from this match and apply it to future Tactical Rifle matches that may be held at Heartland. For example, we may open it up to allow tubular magazine fed .22's by making a specific division for them, and allow .22 rimfire bolt action guns to utilize "DRT" scoring, much like we do with snubbies at the Carrygun Match.

put me down for a possible. would be in 22 standard/magnified if i make it.

that would be cool to have a tube mag class. i have one of those from when i was knee high to a grasshopper. so you can imagine how good i am with it.

This would be awesome.

yeah i think if you open it up to bolt action you would get some more action... of course then there is me, the guy who has never owned a .22 in his life!!!

Let me tell how much I have messed this event up. I should have just stayed out of it. I asked about using a pistol and my AK and the bolt action. Come to find out my bolt has a tubular magazine. I did find a PIMP action that is tubular mag fed as well. I just have to buy a semi to solve the problems.

Benji - I got a bolt and PIMP and my pistol if you want to compete against me.

This whole thread has to be an internet classic! 15 pages, and nobody has had a cross word, or got into a pissing match! :D
Maybe that will start after the scores are posted?

David, I will be there for sure, shooting 223 magnified. Didnt have time to get the app in today. Sorry, but ill gladly pay the $25.

JP, I have a 10-22 that has a dot on it that you can borrow. Put the dot where you want the bullet to go, squeeze trigger. Repeat as needed.

You guys are awesome! Can't say that enough!!! I've asked all of my friends (only have like 2 or 3) and combined I have rounded up 2 pumps, 2 lever, 2 bolts and no semi autos! This will be good practice for those rifle matches I want to compete in with my upgraded AK
